I'll spread them out a little now that I'm trying to get back on track with posting entries. The first (and most amusing) project I'd like to share is a lively booklet style invite I developed for a rock-star of a couple in preparation for their February destination wedding. I've posted the full invite pics (as it takes several to get though the full story), but thought I'd share the fun assembly side of this project with you all.

See the full invitation in my 'featured projects' (be sure to check out A & B to catch their whole story.)

Over red wine, great chats, and many hours, all nine pages of the invite were cut, scored and sewn together with an accent chartreuse thread... quite lovely indeed. The fold-out back portion of the invite includes a cut-off pre-paid and addressed postcard for all guests to submit their reply. Great story, fun invites!

I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to have worked with such a fun and playful couple willing to let me take this concept to the max.

Congratulations Michelle and Andy!

Fans were pleased to find they've made a tradition of selling scrumptious home made treats as part of their CD release show. I had the pleasure of running the culinary coo that ensued. An array of home made splendors including chocolate covered cream puffs, mini pavlovas, cupcakes and cookies galore. Signage was a must for hungry attendees... and how could I resist such a graphic opportunity? In the theme of vintage print, I fashioned this bake sale poster out of a vintage jar advertisement (yes, she was originally holding a less than appetizing jar of pickled eggs) combined with a cake image, carefully weathered and colour matched within the wonders of Photoshop to sit on Suzy Homemakers hand effortlessly. Honey Script was a perfectly retro font which I loved having the chance to bust out for this. Mmmmm HoneyScript.
