Fun little love story
A wonderfully busy couple of months have taken me from sharing some really fun recent projects on this little journal of mine. I'll spread them out a little now that I'm trying to get back on track with posting entries. The first (and most amusing) project I'd like to share is a lively booklet style invite I developed for a rock-star of a couple in preparation for their February destination wedding. I've posted the full invite pics (as it takes several to get though the full story), but thought I'd share the fun assembly side of this project with you all.
See the full invitation in my 'featured projects' (be sure to check out A & B to catch their whole story.)
Over red wine, great chats, and many hours, all nine pages of the invite were cut, scored and sewn together with an accent chartreuse thread... quite lovely indeed. The fold-out back portion of the invite includes a cut-off pre-paid and addressed postcard for all guests to submit their reply. Great story, fun invites!
I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to have worked with such a fun and playful couple willing to let me take this concept to the max.
Congratulations Michelle and Andy!
